Menard County Board of Commissioners

The Menard County Board of Commissioners is comprised of five elected members.  The Commissioners are responsible for many local government policy decisions and have all the duties of a commission form of government as outlined in Illinois State Statutes.

Current Board of Commissioners members include:

Jeff Fore, District 1

Barb Kyes, District 2

Merle Kirby, Chairperson, District 3

Bob Lott, District 4

Ed Whitcomb, Jr., District 5

Unless otherwise specified by public notice, Commissioner meetings take place on the First Floor, in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room of the Menard County Courthouse, 102 S. Seventh Street, Petersburg, Illinois, 62675.  Regularly scheduled meetings are held the second and last Tuesdays of each month, unless otherwise posted.
