Description of Services

The office performs 911 addressing, 911 address signs, oversees 911 dispatch, handles road name requests and approve or disapprove road renaming in unincorporated areas.  It should be noted that the Emergency Telephone Systems Board (ETSB) is a separate and distinct governmental jurisdiction from the Menard County government.  A link is provided on the County's website for the public's convenience.

Public meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.  The most frequently asked questions involve road name changes.  There is an application fee of $500.
